ENTITLEMENTS OF STUDENTS UNDER 25% RTE ACT RESERVATION IN
UNAIDED SCHOOLS
All the students
belonging to disadvantaged group and economically weaker sections admitted in
unaided private private schools under 25% reservation in terms of Section 12 of
the Right of Children to Free & Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act,
2009) are entitled to all free of cost all the facilities and provisions
including books, uniform, smart class etc. from the school which are made
available to fee-paying students.
In case, the school is refusing to provide any benefit or support to the student or otherwise discriminating in any manner, the student/his parents/guardians are advised to lodge a complaint with the Directorate of Education and also to NCPCR. In addition to that, they can send a copy of the complaint to the undersigned by post or through email.
